A glimpse of life above the wild and barren landscapes of Mount Ngauruhoe. Taken minutes before a hailstorm, this encounter with a lone gull circling above us had always felt like a warning from mother nature of what was to come. This moment will certainly be a memory I’ll always cherish and an addition to the many stories to share in years to come.
